GitHub: where the kit lives.
GitHub is the shelf. Git is the trolley.
GitHub is a website that stores projects. The kit is in a public repository, so anyone can read and download it without an account: github.com/SenrabZil/conducting-the-agent-kit. A free account only matters if you want to keep your own copy online.
Git is a program on your PC. It copies the repository down, keeps a history of every change, and fetches updates later. Claude Code relies on that history: every edit it makes can be seen and undone.
Which one lets you fetch updates later with a single command?
Get Git, then get the kit
Install Git for Windows
Open PowerShell (Win then type PowerShell) and run:
winget install --id Git.Git -e --source wingetClose PowerShell, open a new window so it sees the new program, and check:
git --version
git version 2.x.x.windows.xNo winget? Download the installer from git-scm.com/downloads/win and accept the defaults.
Clone the kit
git clone https://github.com/SenrabZil/conducting-the-agent-kit.git C:\conducting-the-agent-kitLater, to fetch updates:
cd C:\conducting-the-agent-kit; git pullOr: download a ZIP
On the repository page, select . Then right-click the ZIP in File Explorer and choose Extract All. Desktop can't open files while they're still inside a ZIP.
Just the report file
The ready-made sample.pbix is attached to a release: on the repository page, open Releases on the right and download it from Assets.
C:\conducting-the-agent-kit, outside OneDrive or Google Drive. Desktop can't save a project straight to OneDrive or SharePoint, and sync tools can lock files mid-save.
